ROMANTIKA STONE HOUSE

Loggos, Greece

The owner decided a few years back to come back to what used to be the family home of his father.  The father was one of the many children and, as normal for those days, when he became a teenager he left the island to work in the merchant navyof. The house after a few years closed and the old retired seaman was coming for a few days in teh suumer.

It was about 10 years ago, when the son started the project of restoration of the family house.  He worked on the house with a lot of love and care, in order to keep the local characteristics of the building and make it comfortable for the guests.

The restoration project wasvery succesfull nad was finshed totaly only about 2 years ago.  The  main materials pf the restoration were stone and wood.  The quality of the materialand  work have made the Romantica stone house the most well preserved building in the village of Loggos at the time

The house is split into two levels.  The top part is an open plan        sitting/ dining area, with a 3 seater sofa a fully equipped kitchen.  The space has two windows with partial sea view . 

The lower floor is connected with an oak wood hand made staircase.

There is a large double bed and a sofa bed that could sleep one more abult or even two children.  There are spacious closets and  bathroom is on the same level, equipped  with a bath tab.

There is anothermain entrance door that can be used as an entrance to the house.  Outdside the bedroom there is a small sitting area.
