VILLA APLA
Description
A secluded stone hideaway where tradition, olive-grove silence, and wide harbour views create a rare sense of privacy on Paxos.
Villa Apla is an intimate retreat shaped by the gentleness of old Paxos. Once a simple family home, it has been carefully transformed into a private haven that honours its heritage while offering the ease and comfort of modern island living.
Set in one of the island’s most peaceful corners, the villa is wrapped in olive trees and open countryside, with a remarkable feeling of seclusion — the kind of quiet that makes mornings linger and evenings arrive softly. From the patios, the view opens out toward Lakka harbour, a distant shimmer of boats and sea that feels almost dreamlike from such a private setting.
The villa’s layout is part of its charm: three small cottages arranged to create a natural sense of independence and flow. The central cottage holds the shared living spaces, while the two bedroom cottages sit slightly apart, offering privacy for couples, friends, or family members travelling together. Outdoors, stone-built seating, a covered dining area, and garden corners designed for different times of day make life feel effortlessly open-air and unhurried.
Villa Apla is for guests who want Paxos at its most authentic: quiet, romantic, and beautifully simple — with space to breathe and the landscape always close.
